The past decade has been rather interesting for the cryptocurrency industry. Albeit mainstream adoption is not in sight by a long shot, it would appear that the use of crypto wallets has been rising significantly.
Getting people excited about cryptocurrencies requires a ton of effort.
Crypto Wallets Adoption is on the Rise
Even during these uncertain financial times, it appears that Bitcoin and altcoins aren’t of great interest.
That situation will hopefully change for the better in the coming months and years.
One aspect that is improving is the use of crypto wallets on a global scale.
Information provided by Statista seems to confirm there is a growing interest in crypto wallets.
Compared to late 2016, the number of users has more than quadrupled by Q3 2019.
An interesting development, given how the Bitcoin price has pulled back numerous times during this period.
Even during the 2017-2018-2019 crypto winter, the number of crypto wallets in use kept increasing.
One can only hope that this momentum will carry over to this decade.
It is still too early to draw any conclusion in that particular department, however.
Now is the time for people to tell their friends and family about cryptocurrencies and their potential.
Not everyone has to buy a full unit of a Bitcoin or Ether to become part of the new era of money.
